What is a nursery school and how will it benefit a child?

A nursery school proves to be the first and foremost step towards a child's higher education. If a child's primitive learning is incomplete, then it will be difficult for a child to cop up with other well-learned children. He/she will lack behind, and this further will hinder his/ her confidence.


Promoting language and cognitive skills:
In nursery school, a child is nurtured in a language-rich atmosphere that develops the language skills at a high level. A child's vocabulary is grown at the maximum level. Above all, a child is encourages to sing, talk about their favorite things, read out stories, etc. which further helps them recognize their abilities and skills.


Nurturing a child's curiosity:
At this age, a child has a good imagination and learns more through acts and dramas. The nursery school has a good stock of costumes, props, and all the childhood-sized household items. And so, all these things encourage a child's curiosity to know more.


Opportunities to develop motor skills:
In the nursery school, a child is exposed to the external environment, and thus, the physical co-ordination is improved. This further challenges them in new ways. They are exposed to many physical activities like running, jumping, climbing, etc. They are also taught how to cut with scissors, threading beads, etc.


Boosting pre-math and literacy skills:
There are many children who from the start itself show great interest in pre-math and literacy skills. And, a nursery school helps them by giving a spark to their interests by motivating them towards learning, child care programs, etc. The children are introduced to many such activities that prove interesting and meaningful for their betterment.
